We are hiring a QA Tester to join a government office located in central Israel.
Responsibilities:
-Plan, design, and execute manual and automated software tests
-Analyze software requirements and technical specifications to create detailed test plans and test cases
-Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
-Identify, document, and track software defects throughout the development lifecycle
-Participate in QA process improvement initiatives and contribute to best practices
-Work with secure computing environments and support cybersecurity and information security testing efforts
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in manual and automated software testing
- Experience in defining software testing processes and writing specification documents and test scenarios
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting in Python / PowerShell / Bash
- Experience in Python development
- Familiarity with IT systems, information security, data communication, and cybersecurity defense systems
