Who Are We?
We’re a new kind of Fintech/gaming company-built at the intersection of skill-based competition, real-money strategy, and next-gen monetization. While we’re still operating in stealth, our founding team includes veteran entrepreneurs and product builders from leading names in Fintech, gaming and iGaming platforms. We’re gearing up for a 2026 launch and looking for our first hire in monetization to join the core team and take ownership of one of the most critical pillars of our business.
About The Role
As Head of Monetization, you’ll be the architect and operator of all revenue-driving initiatives across the player lifecycle. Your mission is simple-but not easy: maximize player LTV, daily revenue, and retention. You’ll design the monetization engine from the ground up - including strategy, tools, operations, and team structure-and be deeply hands-on as we scale.
You will own the monetization calendar, lead promotional execution, optimize in-game offers and pricing, and drive reactivation strategies for churned players. You’ll work closely with product, economy, data, and game operations to create engaging player journeys that hit KPIs without sacrificing user experience.
What You'll Do
- Own all monetization initiatives end-to-end: planning, execution, and optimization
- Design and run promotions, offers, sales, and time-limited features
- Plan, build and lead the execution of the monetization calendar, with agility to react to performance in real-time
- Work with game economy and data teams to configure pricing and offers that balance performance with design integrity
- Partner with product and tech teams to map player journeys into automated flows
- Run A/B tests and continuously improve through data-driven insights
- Build the monetization department: hire the team, implement the tools, set the playbook
- Develop reactivation strategies for dormant users
- Collaborate with customer support and VIP to align on player lifecycle communication
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in monetization, live ops, or CRM in the gaming, social casino, or real-money gaming space
- Proven track record of revenue growth and retention uplift
- Deep understanding of game monetization mechanics, player psychology, and reward systems
- Hands-on expertise in A/B testing, segmentation, offer configuration, and tool implementation
- Strong experience working with analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Tableau, Mixpanel)
- Ability and know how in building Superior Monetization team from the ground up in similar ventures
- Strategic mindset with a builder mentality – you’re not just optimizing, you’re creating
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats and iterating fast in a startup environment
- Bonus: experience with season passes, collectible mechanics, or gamified reactivation flows
