Senior DevOps Engineer

About The Position

At Geoedge, we process over 3 billion events a day to protect the digital ad ecosystem in real time. That takes infrastructure built for performance, scale, and security and that’s where you come in.

As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you will take sole ownership of a cloud-native AWS estate – architecting and scaling high-throughput data pipelines, multi-region EKS clusters, and Lambda-powered serverless workloads that protect web, mobile, and CTV users worldwide.

You will set the standards for CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, cost optimization, and security, collaborating with engineering teams to build, ship, and safeguard mission-critical services trusted by Amazon, The New York Times, Voodoo, and dozens of other digital leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for microservices deployment
• Architect and operate data pipeline solutions utilizing Redshift, Athena, and S3
• Implement robust observability solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Support CI/CD workflows with Jenkins and ArgoCD
• Optimize AWS resource utilization for performance and cost
• Provide technical guidance to development teams on cloud best practices
• Monitor serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Step Functions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles
• Strong experience with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, Step Functions)
• Expertise in Kubernetes administration and deployment strategies
• Experience with data warehouse technologies (Redshift, Athena, PostgreSQL, S3)
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Strong scripting abilities in Bash and Linux system administration
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD)
• Demonstrated experience with monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have

• Experience with AWS CDK or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with Python or other programming languages
• Experience with event-driven architectures
• Exposure to machine learning infrastructure
• Experience with blue/green deployment strategies
• Contributions to open-source projects
