Front End Tech Lead

At Qodo, we’re building products for busy developers like you to move fast with confidence by generating meaningful tests suggested right inside the IDE. Our first product is a line of IDE extensions that uses AI and deep domain understanding to help developers create tests for their code. Our second product is an open source pull-request git agent that uses AI to drastically speed up and improve PR reviews!

What Will You Do?

• Act as a technical lead for the Qodo Gen IDE plugin product, providing direction and guidance for front-end development projects
• Architect and deliver state-of-the-art user interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams
• End-to-end contribution to each step of the product development process, from ideation to implementation and release
• Champion technical excellence by setting coding standards, conducting code reviews, and implementing best practices
• Influence and shape the product's vision and strategy by bringing in innovative ideas and technical expertise
• Stay ahead of front-end trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation
  
  

• 7+ years of hands-on front-end development experience, including React (or similar frameworks) with a deep understanding of state management, component lifecycles, and hooks
• Proven expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with a strong understanding of web application architecture
• A track record of successfully leading technical projects or teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide and inspire team members
  
  

• Experience in building IDE extensions or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of Kotlin.
• Familiarity with GCP or other cloud platforms.
