Backend engineer

We’re building cutting-edge robotics technology and are looking for a highly skilled backend engineer to join our team. This is an equity-only role at the moment.

What we’re looking for:

• Deep experience in backend development

• Strong knowledge of servers, authentication, and secure APIs

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, C++, Node.js, etc.)

• Experience with robotics, VR systems, and real-time hardware integration

• Expertise in networking and real-time communication (WebRTC, low-latency data streaming)

• Database design and management (SQL/NoSQL) for scalable and synchronized storage

• Cloud and DevOps experience (AWS, Azure, GCP; Docker; CI/CD pipelines)

• API design (REST, GraphQL) and efficient communication between devices, frontend, and backend

• Multithreading and concurrency for real-time systems

• Testing and debugging, including hardware-in-the-loop testing

• Cross-platform understanding (iOS, Android, PC VR, etc.)
