Director of Finance

Zafran is hiring a Director of Finance in Tel Aviv to join our fast-growing startup. As our first in-house Director of Finance, you'll build the foundation of our finance function from the ground up. This is a hands-on role where you'll own day-to-day operations while creating scalable processes for our future growth. You'll work directly with leadership to drive informed strategic decisions in a collaborative, high-impact environment.

What you will do:

• Take ownership of our finance operations as we transition from outsourced to in-house
• Manage end-to-end finance operations: bookkeeping, AP/AR, payroll, expense management, and month-end close
• Build systems and processes that scale – implementing tools and workflows that grow with us
• Review financial and legal aspects of contracts with vendors, customers, and partners
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting – your insights will shape company direction
• Partner across teams on financial analysis and performance measurement
• Collaborate with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors for compliance and reporting
  
  

• CPA with Big 4 experience
• 3-5 years in a similar role at a global high-tech company or a successful startup
• Financial modeling expertise and advanced skills in Google Sheets, plus experience with financial/GTM tools (NetSuite, Salesforce preferred)
• Systems implementation experience – you've built processes and automations before
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Legal background – an advantage
• SaaS/Cybersecurity experience – an advantage
• Entrepreneurial mindset – ready to take on varied projects and responsibilities
