Director of Finance

Qodo is looking for it’s first in-house financial figure.

As our Director of Finance, you will play a key business partner role, shaping and scaling our internal capabilities, building efficient processes that align Finance with GTM success, while acting as a strategic and hands-on leader.

The ideal candidate has experience in SaaS financial operations, leading finance in a high-paced, fast growing startup company, bringing agility and ability to move fast and work in an ever-evolving market.

You will lead core financial operations across revenue, billing, commissions, and sales alignment- while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Own P&L and budget planning across the company, ensuring alignment with strategic and revenue goals
• Build and lead a robust financial planning & analysis (FP&A) process with regular forecasts, tracking burn, headcount, and key SaaS metrics
• Translate financial insights into strategic recommendations that drive growth and efficiency. Provide real-time reporting to leadership and department heads
• Partner with the CEO, RevOps, and GTM teams to model pricing and support revenue optimization initiatives and commission plans
• Oversee financial compliance, risk management, and internal controls
• Ensure strong command of Israeli tax law and familiarity with US regulations
• Prepare and present financials in VC board meetings, clearly articulating performance, runway, and budget impacts
  
  

• 5+ years in finance roles, ideally within a startup or high-growth B2B SaaS company
• Deep experience managing P&L and budget, and developing scalable financial processes
• Strong command of SaaS metrics and business models (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn)
• Demonstrated experience with sales order management, billing operations, and revenue recognition- using NetSuite
• Proven ability to manage complex commission structures and review cycles
• Strategic thinker with a strong execution orientation- someone who rolls up their sleeves
• Strong understanding of Israeli tax and regulatory frameworks, with bonus points for US finance exposure
• Clear communicator, strong cross-functional collaborator, and a trusted partner across legal, GTM, and product teams
