Software Engineer

We’re an early-stage startup growing at breakneck speed and looking for our first Founding Engineer. This is a rare chance to join at the ground floor of a company already operating at massive scale with strong early traction.

You’ll work directly with the founders to design, build, and scale systems that process huge volumes of data in real time.

What you’ll do

• Build core backend services and data infrastructure to support high-throughput AI systems.
• Design scalable, distributed architectures that can handle millions of requests daily.
• Collaborate on front-end interfaces and dashboards for analytics and insights.
• Experiment with modern AI/ML pipelines and help bring them into production.
• Lay the foundations for engineering best practices, tooling, and future team growth.

Tech Environment (examples you may touch)

We use a broad, modern stack (and don’t expect you to know it all!). You’ll encounter things like:

• Backend frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Node, Go)
• Databases & storage (Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, Elastic, BigQuery)
• Frontend (React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind)
• Infra (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform)
• AI/ML (LLMs, PyTorch, Triton, Ray, vLLM)

What we’re looking for

• Strong software engineering background with focus on backend or distributed systems.
• No fixed years of experience required, talent can be demonstrated through side projects, prizes, complex problems solved, open-source contributions, etc.
• Curiosity and flexibility to work across the stack, backend, infra, and front-end.
• Excitement to work with cutting-edge AI tools and large-scale data systems.
• A builder’s mindset: you like solving hard problems, fast.
