WalkImpact is a Mental Defense startup that helps bring security, emergency, and medical forces home safely — in body and in mind.

When our frontline heroes return from missions, they do not always return home in full. Their partners, parents, siblings, friends, and commanders often notice something is wrong but don’t know how to help. It’s not yet PTSD — it’s the dangerous path toward it that we aim to stop.

WalkImpact builds an AI-powered system that:

• Detects early signs of distress and suicide risk
• Guides families and close circles to hold and help at critical moments

The company is led by:

• Eliav Ser - CEO & Co-Founder, Major (Res.), serial entrepreneur with 20+ years in marketing and tech
• Keren Dobkovsky-Abrahami - CPO & Co-Founder, Product leader (20+ yrs), UX & customer insights, stakeholder mgmt., zero-to-one execution.
• Ido May-Raz - CCO & Co-Founder, Neuropsychologist & rehabilitation expert (11+ yrs), PTSD & anxiety treatment, ex-Clalit Rehab Psychology, XRHealth clinical program lead.

After a significant product pivot to maximize impact and build a sustainable business, we are expanding the founding team and continue to search for:

Role: Senior Designer

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on senior UX/UI Product Designer to lead the end-to-end design of our branding & mobile product. This is a unique opportunity to shape the visual identity, usability, and emotional tone of a platform supporting the people who are protecting us.

You will work closely with our CPO and founding team to translate user insights, psych-tech concepts, and complex emotional journeys into beautifully simple, hopeful, and human-centered experiences.

We are seeking a Senior Designer to join as a volunteer with a clear path to grow into a key role.

This is a pivotal role where deep mastery of product design, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) is essential.

You will be responsible for crafting a powerful and emotionally resonant design language and user experience that reflects the dignity and sacrifice of our users.

Main responsibilities

• Build and maintain a complete design system for mobile and web applications
• Create and own the visual language and brand identity, ensuring a consistent, human-centered experience
• Develop high-fidelity mockups and user flows for app and web
• Update and expand our brand book and style guidelines
• Collaborate with product, clinical, and technology leads to create an interface that is intuitive, meaningful, and supportive

Requirements

• Proven experience designing mobile and web products end-to-end (concept to launch)
• Deep understanding of UX and UI, with the ability to design rich, seamless, and emotionally engaging user journeys
• Strong skills in scalable design systems and brand language creation
• Advantage: experience in mental health, healthcare, wellness, or other impact-driven projects
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving startup environment
