Automation Engineer

A stealth Israeli Startup founded this year in the Storage space offers a platform that helps enterprise clients reduce their cloud storage costs by up to 50%. The company is headquartered in

Tel Aviv near a train line, operates a hybrid model with two work-from-home days per week, and currently employs 28 people.

The company has raised $20M, backed by one of the world’s leading venture funds. The founders come from top-tier technology units and have multiple prior exits.

Responsibilities-

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for backend services (Python, Go).
• Build and improve QA infrastructure and frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure high-quality releases.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and implement solutions to improve product reliability.
• Participate in shaping QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Provide early feedback on product features and design to prevent defects.
• Core Technologies Python, Go, C/C++, Linux Kernel, Automation Frameworks, Backend QA, CI/CD

Qualifications-

• 5+ years of experience in product testing and automation tool development for enterprise-grade products.
• 3+ years of development experience with Python or Go.
• Strong understanding of Linux OS.
• Experience in analyzing large and diverse systems, with a solid grasp of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Proven experience developing and deploying on cloud service providers (preferably AWS).
• Understanding of storage technologies - advantage.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes - advantage.
• Experience with GitHub Actions - advantage.
