About the Role:

We are looking for a Fortran Software Engineer to join our core development team of 3–4 engineers in Tel Aviv. In this role, you will work closely with the Company’s CTO, maintaining and advancing our legacy Fortran-based software while also contributing to new developments that support engineers globally. This is an opportunity to combine deep technical work with the impact of shaping tools relied upon by thousands of professionals every day.

In this role you will:

• Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements in Fortran.
• Maintain and improve existing Fortran code bases, ensuring performance, quality, and reliability.
• Collaborate with a small, highly skilled team of 3–4 software engineers to share knowledge, review code, and solve complex technical challenges.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while driving best practices and coding standards.
• Learn and apply complementary technologies (such as C++ and WinAPI) to maximize development efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Fortran (or the ability and motivation to learn it quickly).
• Strong mathematical and algorithmic skills, with proven problem-solving ability.
• Experience working effectively with large code bases and legacy systems.
• Knowledge of WinAPI and/or C++ is an advantage.
• Structural Engineering background and/or CAD/BIM experience is a plus.
• Self-motivated, with the initiative to get things done with minimal supervision.

This is a hybrid role, working from the Ramat Gan Bursa office.
