💼 The Role:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps leader to head our DevOps organization. This is a high-impact role that will shape our infrastructure strategy across multi-cloud and on-premise environments. You'll drive initiatives in reliability, scalability, observability, and security, and guide a team that’s critical to everything we build.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead & Mentor: Provide technical direction, coaching, and career development for our DevOps team.
• Own Our Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Multi-Cluster Mastery: Orchestrate clusters across AWS, GCP, Azure, and on-prem, ensuring secure and efficient communication.
• Governance at Scale: Develop centralized management for multi-cluster operations and networking.
• Observability First: Implement end-to-end monitoring, alerting, and observability tools to ensure reliability.
• Resilience Engineering: Lead incident response and post-mortem processes. Build strong disaster recovery plans.
• Automation & CI/CD: Streamline delivery with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitHub. Champion infra-as-code.
• Engineering Partnership: Work closely with product and engineering to build scalable infra solutions.
• Cost Efficiency: Track and optimize infrastructure spending.
• Tech Watch: Stay ahead of trends and assess new tools and technologies for adoption.

🎯 What You Bring to the Table:

• 7+ years in DevOps engineering roles, with at least 2+ years leading teams.
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes (5+ years), including security, networking, and multi-cluster setups.
• Proven experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid environments.
• Expertise in service mesh tools like Istio or Linked.
• Strong command of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK).
• Solid grasp of infrastructure as code: Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Background in software development and database administration.
• Security-first mindset and knowledge of compliance standards.
• Relevant certifications: CKA, CKAD, AWS/GCP/Azure (preferred).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
