We are seeking a Hardware Board Design Engineer to join our Head-Up Displays (HUD) electronics team within the ISTAR & EW Division

In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle hardware design, from concept to production, requiring system-level understanding and working cutting-edge technologies

The job is located in Rehovot

Responsibilities

Full-cycle hardware design: specification, schematic design, PCB layout, and verification

Design and development of complex electronic circuits, including high-speed digital and analog components

Work with high-speed interfaces such as DDR4, SerDes, and advanced processors

Conduct system-wide analyses to ensure design optimization

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (software, FPGA, mechanics, optics, etc.)

Support environmental and EMC compliance testing

Prepare technical documentation and reports in English

Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university

Minimum 7 Years Of Experience In Hardware Board Design

Proven experience in full hardware design (specification, schematic, PCB layout, verification)

Strong knowledge of high-speed interfaces (DDR4, SerDes), FPGA components, and advanced processors

Fluent English (written and verbal) for documentation and communication

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

System-level understanding of complex electronic systems

Advantages

Experience in FPGA and CPLD firmware development (coding, simulation, synthesis, P&R)

Familiarity with environmental and EMC standards

Experience in a multidisciplinary development environment

Background in video and image processing development

Experience leading engineering teams
