Software Architect

An AI Digital Health startup has developed a SaaS platform that brings intelligence capabilities to the medical field. The product assists U.S.-based healthcare providers by consolidating patient data into a single “clinical identity,” offering decision support for doctors, aiding in optimal diagnosis, and enabling data collection and analysis.

Headquartered in central Israel near a train line, the company employs 100 people and operates a hybrid model with three work-from-home days per week. The company is well-funded, successful, and backed by top-tier investors.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design decisions for the company’s platform.
• Integrate AI and ML/LLM models into production systems.
• Support development teams by providing tools, frameworks, and best practices for AI adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee cloud-based deployments and infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Participate hands-on in Python development and occasional React front-end work.
• Core Technologies Python, React, AI/ML/LLM models, AWS, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Production AI systems

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in Backend or Full-Stack development – mandatory
• 5 years of experience in Software Architecture roles – mandatory
• Hands-on experience with AWS – mandatory
• Experience with Python, Go, or Node.js – mandatory
• Experience working in SaaS companies – mandatory
• Experience with AI, including working with AI systems in development or familiarity with LLM models – mandatory
• Experience with React – advantage
