System Validation Team Leader

About The Job

NewPhotonics is disrupting data center processing with novel photonic engines that

solve power and performance challenges. We are looking for a System Validation

team leader to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the

technological landscape of our organization. The successful candidate for this

position should have a track record of strength and aptitude relevant to the following

areas:

What You’ll Be Doing

• Define functional and DVT plans and key results according to standards,
  
  

• Lead a team of engineers to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
• Develop analysis and validation techniques that deliver accurate, predictable, and
  
  

• Responsible for lab testing results and performance benchmarking of hardware,
  
  

• Develop and maintain automation processes.
• Define bench-level qualification and production-level test plans.
• Provide customer support and conduct associated feasibility studies.
• Manage, maintain, and verify the availability of test equipment.
• Perform optical integration and testing in the clean room.
  
  

• 10+ years experience with running experiments in opto/electric lab environment.
• 3+ years of proven experience in a team leadership role.
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving and experimentation.
• Experience with building lab automation (e.g. scripting, Python)
• Experience with high-speed RF and opto/electrical test equipment.
• Ability to effectively manage a volume of work across multiple projects and teams
  
  

• Organized and detail oriented.
• Demonstrates a high level of commitment and drive for excellence.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
• Experience with Silicon Photonics and advantage
