About The Position

As Augury’s Algorithm Engineer, you’ll be at the intersection of advanced technology and meaningful impact with clear business cases. As part of the algorithmic team at Augury, you will have the opportunity to build and deploy algorithms directly into our products, witnessing firsthand how your models impact our customers in manufacturing.

A Day In Your Life

• Own the algorithm lifecycle: From problem definition and data analysis to prototyping and delivering production-ready solutions.
• Digital signal processing (DSP): Develop algorithms and infrastructure to manipulate and analyze digital signals. Extract unique features and evaluate their impact.
• Drive innovation: Utilize state-of-the-art algorithms and infrastructures, combined with advanced research, to enhance our algorithms' performance and, in turn, achieve real-world impact.
• Lead new opportunities: Research and understand blind spots in our coverage, new types of processes, and other unsolved challenges in manufacturing. Analyze data from various sensor types. Build the technological solutions-including algorithms, data pipelines, and hardware requirements.
• Leverage modern technologies: Work with cloud-based big data platforms for storage, distributed processing, and stream analysis (e.g., metaflow, outerbounds, Azure)
  
  

What You Bring

• BSc, M.Sc., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in signal processing and algorithm design.
• Proficiency in Python for model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Experience working with time-series data.
• Experience in anomaly detection, AI, ML is an advantage.
• Experience within the industrial sector is an advantage.
• The ability to translate research into scalable, production-ready solutions.
• The skill to define technological opportunities and assess risks.
• Own a “yes we can” mentality.
• Experience working on Agile teams with a passion for fast iterations, feedback, and continuous learning.
• The ability to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional groups, including product managers, hardware engineers, customers, and AI and data engineering teams.
