Public Relations Associate

We are looking for a proactive, ambitious, and results-driven PR Associate to help amplify our message. This is a full-time role for someone who loves hands-on work, thrives on initiative, and wants to grow into a broader PR leadership role over time.

Job Description:

• Craft compelling press pitches and create news even when there isn’t obvious news
• Build and maintain media relationships, including journalists, podcasters, bloggers, and community outlets
• Manage book launches, awards submissions, and promotional campaigns
• Support events and author appearances, turning them into PR and media opportunities
• Engage with digital media—podcasts, online publications, social channels—ensuring consistent visibility
• Collaborate with internal teams to align PR with marketing and organizational messaging
• Track and report on media coverage and outreach impact
• Identify opportunities to grow into a broader PR role and take on increased responsibility over time

Job Requirements:

• Experienced in public relations, communications, or a related field
• Strong writing, editing, and interpersonal skills
• Creative, proactive, and able to pitch bold ideas confidently
• Digital-savvy and comfortable working across multiple media channels
• Ambitious, persistent, and results-oriented
• Jewish studies background – a plus
