abra R&D is seeking for a Technical Writer.
This role requires experience in writing software documentation, particularly SVDs (Software Version Description), and will provide engineering support to project managers in various documentation and configuration-related processes.
A full-time on-site position, based in central Israel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Writing and maintaining technical documents in English: SVDs, SRS, SDD
- Supporting engineering and project teams with documentation and release processes
- Ensuring all documentation meets quality standards, compliance requirements, and release deadlines
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including software, systems, QA, and integration
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in a software or defense-related environment
- Hands-on experience writing SVDs and other technical documents in English
- Familiarity with software documentation standards (SRS, SDD, etc.)
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, Word, and structured templates
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English – must
- Experience supporting project managers and engineering teams
