As a Data Security Solution Engineer (SE), you will play a pivotal role in driving data security across every stage of the technical sales lifecycle. This opportunity will allow you to accelerate your career growth, develop deep business acumen, hone your technical skills, and become adept at solution design and deployment. As a trusted technical advisor, you’ll guide customers through secure, scalable solution design, influence technical decisions, and accelerate AI applications and agents into their development workflows. Responsibilities

• Drive deep technical sales with decision makers using demos and PoCs to influence solution design and enable production deployments. 
• Lead hands-on engagements, code-with sessions, and architecture workshops—to accelerate adoption of Microsoft’s data security tools and cloud platforms.  
• Build trusted relationships with technical decision makers and platform leads, co-designing secure, scalable architectures and solutions .
• Resolve technical blockers and objections, collaborating with product engineering to share insights and improve products.  
• Maintain deep technical understanding of data security architectures, solutions/technologies including Microsoft Purview & Priva.
• Develop strategies and recommendations to improve the client's data security posture, shapes technical win plan and tailors Microsoft messaging to audience for data security opportunities. Enhances team capabilities for protecting and governing data within the estate and securing data within AI Platforms and Applications.
• Represent Microsoft through thought leadership in cyber security communities and customer forums  
  
  

Qualifications

• 8+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience OR equivalent experience. 
• 5+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management. 
• Proven ability to lead technical engagements (e.g. PoCs, MVPs) that drive production-scale outcomes.  
• Working knowledge and demonstrated skill implementing solutions across the Data Security landscape and integration data security principles, patterns and practices into an enterprise environment  
• Working knowledge and application of Zero Trust Principles, Patterns and Practices, Security Threat Modeling and Mitigation, Security Posture Management and Device and Workload Protection in an enterprise environment .
• Work experience with Data security solutions (Like: Microsoft Purview) or, one or more related technologies such as Symantec, Forcepoint, Google, Varonis, etc.
