As an Application Security Engineer you will take a leading role in embedding security into every stage of the development lifecycle. You will be responsible for integrating advanced security tools into DevOps processes, designing and maintaining secure pipelines, developing monitoring and exception mechanisms, and ensuring that security is seamlessly built into the organization’s core systems and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate security tools and best practices into DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines
  • Design, build, and maintain secure pipelines and automated security workflows
  • Analyze vulnerabilities, findings, and exposures from security tools, and implement tailored solutions
  • Develop monitoring, control, and exception mechanisms to ensure effective remediation
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure delivery
  • Conduct dedicated development tasks to improve security processes and system resiliency
  • Support cloud security initiatives and IaC practices across Azure and GCP environments
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and methodologies to proactively enhance organizational security

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Hands-on experience in Application Security and Secure SDLC methodologies
  • Experience with DevOps & automation tools (Jenkins, GitActions, or similar)
  • Ability to develop and integrate APIs for tools and systems
  • Familiarity with code scanning and CI/CD security tools (Checkmarx, Mend, JFrog Xray, GitHub, Bitbucket, Sentinel, Terraform, K8S, GKE, OCP)
  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting
  • Strong analytical skills to review findings and create effective security controls
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and IaC – strong advantage
  • Background in Penetration Testing – advantage
  • Development skills in Python or Java – advantage
