Economist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Economist to join our Special Budgets Unit.

In this role, you will be responsible for the financial planning and monitoring of academic programs, closed budgets, infrastructure projects, and other strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Budgeting academic units, study programs, auxiliary enterprises, and construction/economic projects
• Ongoing tracking and monitoring of budgetary resources
• Collecting and analyzing financial and economic data
• Preparing position papers, professional opinions, and economic pricing analyses
• Supporting the development of digital systems related to budgeting and control
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for budget reporting
• Assisting with tenders, funding calls, and contract management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics (single or dual major) or Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Hands-on experience with budgeting and financial systems
• Proven ability to write analytical papers and present data clearly
