QA Laboratory Specialist

Unipharm is a fast-growing global pharmaceutical company, development and manufacturing a wide range of generic drugs.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated QA Laboratory Specialist to join our QA team.

This role requires the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work accurately under tight deadlines, and perform well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Own the end-to-end review and approval of controlled documentation, including SOPs, specifications, work instructions, templates, and forms
• Manage quality events, laboratory deviations (OOS/OOT/OOE), leading root-cause analyses, and CAPA implementation.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement process improvements.
• Oversee CAPAs, Change Controls, and training programs.
• Lead stability programs to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Manage the qualification, re-qualification, and ongoing oversight of contract laboratories and critical laboratory service provider
• Review and approve analytical methods, including method validation, verification, and tech-transfers.
• Collaborate with R&D on new product development and method optimization.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical or Biotechnology Engineering – a must
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical QC lab – a must
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, fluency in Hebrew & English (reading & writing).
• Experience in analytical method validation, verification,  and/or tech-transfer – a significant advantage
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical QA (Laboratory or Compliance) – a significant advantage
