VP Product

An interesting startup company in the Operational Cybersecurity field is seeking a VP Product to lead the Product team and drive the continued growth and evolution of the company. This is a pivotal leadership role, working closely with the CEO (a product leader himself) and VP R&D to define product vision, strategy, and execution.

Following several successful funding rounds and strong market traction, the company is now in a Growth stage, scaling its product capabilities, customer base, and global presence.

As the VP Product, you will lead a talented team Product Managers and Designers, oversee the full product lifecycle, and act as the voice of the customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution, balancing 50% inbound (strategy, roadmap, feature definition) and 50% outbound (customer engagement, conferences, partner integrations, go-to-market alignment).
• Lead, mentor, and scale the Product team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Collaborate closely with VP R&D and engineering squads to deliver cross-team features and capabilities.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop product presentations, feature rollouts, and integration strategies.
• Engage directly with US-based enterprise customers, understanding their needs and shaping the customer journey in the product.
• Represent the company at international conferences, customer meetings, and industry events.
• Drive a data-driven, analytical approach to product decisions, ensuring business and strategic alignment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as VP Product (or equivalent senior leadership role) reporting directly to a CEO - a must!
• Background in Cybersecurity or IT infrastructure is a must.
• Strong technical background - BSc in Computer Science or related field preferred; prior experience in software development is a strong advantage.
• Track record of leading B2B SaaS products, ideally for enterprise markets.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate vision into execution.
• Outstanding leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English - native or professional level.
• Experience working closely with global customers, particularly in the US.
• Ability to travel internationally for customer meetings and events.
