About the role

As a Senior Product Manager at ShipIn, you’ll shape the future of maritime operations on shore. You’ll lead the vision and roadmap for our Shore Squad, driving solutions that reduce risk, improve safety, and optimize performance for managers worldwide.

The Product Manager is instrumental in driving the end-to-end success of our products, from enhancing existing features to developing new ones, all while maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics. This role sits at the intersection of technology, data, and domain expertise, working closely with engineering, design, commercial teams, and ShipIn leadership. Reporting to the VP of Product, you’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on customers and play a key role in scaling our product organization during a phase of rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the vision and roadmap for the Shore Squad, ensuring alignment across design, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
• Lead product discovery by deeply understanding customer pain points, analyzing market dynamics, and translating insights into impactful solutions.
• Drive execution end-to-end: from ideation and design to launch and adoption, ensuring features deliver measurable value to customers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, data scientists, domain experts, and commercial teams to turn complex challenges into elegant, customer-centric solutions.
• Measure success and iterate, continuously improving product performance and driving meaningful outcomes such as reduced incidents, higher efficiency, and improved safety.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience as a Product Manager in a fast-paced tech startup.
• Proven track record of launching and iterating on enterprise software products that deliver measurable results.
• Hands-on experience with Industry 4.0 solutions - building tech products for traditional industries (e.g., maritime, industrial, construction, operations, manufacturing).
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, or related); advanced degrees (MSc, PhD, MBA) are a plus.
• Familiarity with product design frameworks and tools, and a data-driven approach to decision-making using BI and KPIs.
• Advantage: experience in IoT, video, computer vision, or exposure to AI/ML and data pipeline tools.
• Excellent analytical skills, curiosity, and a continuous learning mindset.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and focus on delivering results.
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and coordination skills.
