System Engineer

Mobileye is seeking a System Engineer to lead the design and integration of complex automotive systems, bridging hardware, software, and vehicle platforms, ensuring advanced autonomous driving features meet stringent industry standards, performance goals, and customer requirements.

What will your job look like?

• Define and document system-level requirements and interfaces for autonomous vehicle platforms.
• Analyze vehicle and ECU requirements to identify and design software component interactions.
• Develop communication protocols, data formats, and API definitions for cross-module integration.
• Create and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and software architecture documentation.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and integration teams to align interface requirements across domains.
• Support integration reviews, testing, and debugging of interface-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and ASPICE.
• Contribute to system architecture improvements to enhance scalability and reusability.
  
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in system engineering at companies developing complex products integrating hardware and software.
• Strong knowledge of ECU communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SOME/IP, FlexRay).
• Experience with requirements management tools (IBM DOORS, Polarion, PTC Integrity, or similar).
• 3+ years of experience in automotive or robotics systems engineering-an advantage.
• Understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and software component design-an advantage
• Familiarity with system-level testing and debugging.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear documentation abilities.
