A member of the materials R&D team focusing on the development of innovative photopolymer resins for 3d printing. As a junior researcher (Temp position), you will work closely with project lead to support ongoing development activities.

Key responsibilities:

Design and execute tests on the 3d printer according to workplan
Analyze failures in prints and prepare workplan for corrective actions
Conduct functional and performance testing
Document testing and write detailed reports
Perform mechanical analysis for printed parts
Prepare formulations according to recipe in chemistry lab
Assist with the design and optimization of formulation for 3d printing
Perform analytical testing of polymers and formulations
Work closely with Chemistry researchers, physicist
Hands on lab work

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Materials or Chemistry Engineering/Chemistry
Experience in one or more (preferable) areas: polymers, formulations, inks, printing technology, materials development in a multi-disciplinary environment
Proven experience in multi-disciplinary organizations for 2-4 years. preferred
Experience with polymer characterization techniques
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent English
