Research Assistant

Join our team as a Research Assistant for groundbreaking research in infectious diseases, microbiology, molecular biology, and malaria.

Position Overview:

Independent Research: Formulating research questions, conducting experiments, working with cell cultures, molecular biology, and bacteria 

Lab Management: Writing grants and ethics approvals, supervising and mentoring students, managing equipment and inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring lab safety.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Biology or a related field.
• Experience in molecular biology and wet lab techniques.
• Experience with cell cultures, bacteria, or immunology – strong advantage.
• High-level English (scientific writing, grants, presentations, international conferences).
• Ability to balance bench work with lab management responsibilities.
• Independent, proactive, energetic, with strong leadership and team motivation skills.
• Background in chemistry – advantage.
