Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Algorithm Developer to drive the complete lifecycle of algorithmic innovation at IMMERSIX. This is a unique opportunity to own end-to-end development of cutting-edge algorithms that will shape the future of XR technology. You'll work directly with our CTO to tackle complex challenges in computer vision, signal processing, and real-time optimization while collaborating with industry-leading XR manufacturers.

What You'll Own

• Full-cycle algorithm development from research and prototyping through production deployment
• Design and implementation of novel computer vision algorithms for retinal tracking
• Real-time signal processing and optimization for low-latency XR applications
• Algorithm validation, testing, and performance benchmarking
• Cross-functional collaboration with hardware, software, and product teams
• Technical leadership on key algorithmic initiatives and roadmap objectives

Essential Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on algorithm development experience
• Deep understanding of computer vision, image processing, and signal processing
• Strong mathematical skills
• Experience with OpenCV
• Proven track record of taking algorithms from concept to production
• Self-driven with ability to work independently on complex, ambiguous problems

Preferred Experience

• Expert-level proficiency in Python and C++
• Advanced degree (M.Sc./Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• Experience with AI frameworks
• Eye tracking, gaze estimation, or biometric sensing algorithms
• Real-time embedded systems and performance optimization
• XR/AR/VR technology development
• Knowledge of optics
