Cyber Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Implementation Specialist to join a defense organization in northern Israel.

In this role, you will:

• Design, implement, and maintain cyber defense systems within enterprise networks.
• Apply hardening processes, write security rules, and ensure compliance with project defense requirements, standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with IT, networking, and application teams.
• Harden Windows/Linux operating systems and network devices (switches, software, modems).

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in designing, operating, and managing complex IT networks – mandatory.
• 2–3 years of proven experience implementing cybersecurity tools in large IT environments – mandatory (EDR, DLP, AV, WAF, FW, Content Disarm and Reconstruction systems, SIEM, TAPS, Privileged Access Management, vaults, etc.).
• Full expertise in IT infrastructure within Windows/Linux environments, including Active Directory, operating systems, server hardware, networking components, virtualization, and cybersecurity systems – mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of networking systems: switches, routers, firewalls – mandatory.
• Proven experience in hardening operating systems and network devices – mandatory.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
