Network Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network & Infrastructure Lead to join a defense organization in northern Israel.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain a complex and large-scale communication network with unique characteristics.
• Plan, install, operate, and support Checkpoint-based infrastructures (Firewall, VPN, IA, IPS).
• Design, install, and maintain communication infrastructures based on Cisco and Juniper technologies.
• Lead infrastructure projects, including integration between systems and cybersecurity infrastructure support.
• Plan and implement networking and infrastructure solutions to support organizational development needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven hands-on experience in a similar role – mandatory.
• Relevant education or international certification (CCNP) – mandatory.
• Proven expertise in managing complex Layer 3 networks – mandatory.
• Strong knowledge and experience with communication protocols: BGP, MPLS, GLBP, HSRP, VRF – mandatory.
• Experience in planning, upgrading, and implementing systems such as: ACS, PRTG, SPECTRUM, Load Balancer, Firewalls – mandatory.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with IP telephony systems – advantage.
