About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and curious Network & Security Researcher to join our growing team!
In this role, you’ll dive deep into network traffic analysis, cyber-attack techniques, and IoT vulnerabilities, developing advanced detection methods and firewall policies that protect millions of connected devices worldwide.
This is an exciting opportunity to dive into challenging projects, expand your technical expertise, and make a real impact in a fast-paced, innovative cybersecurity company.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyze network traffic, attack patterns, and anomalies with data & security experts.
- Stay up to date on cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence.
- Research attack techniques and IoT-related vulnerabilities.
- Develop methods to classify IoT devices and detect threats.
- Write firewall policies and DPI signatures.
- Build and maintain a lab to simulate and analyze cyber-attacks.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in the network security domain.
- 2+ years of Python programming.
- 2+ years of hands-on security/vulnerability research.
- Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts and TCP/IP.
- Hands-on experience with security tools and attack methodologies.
- Proven experience in network/security-related data analysis.
Bonus Points For:
- Coding skills for analytics and data manipulation (SQL, Pandas, Numpy).
- Published research, blog posts, or articles covering cybersecurity topics.
- Experience applying LLMs/AI to cybersecurity research (log analysis, anomaly detection, threat enrichment, data classification).
- Familiarity with AI models and prompt engineering for networking/security use cases.
