NPI Engineering Mechanical Lead

Job Summary:

As a Mechanical Engineering Product Lead, you will be responsible for leading the transition of new hardware products from the design and development phase to successful mass production. You will be a key technical point of contact, managing New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and collaborating closely with various teams to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing.

Main Responsibilities

• :Lead and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) activities for new hardware products, overseeing the entire process from design to mass production
• .Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, creating detailed engineering and manufacturing documentation
• .Manage the design and manufacturing of mechanical components made from plastic and metal, working directly with CMs locally and abroad
• .Lead the design, validation, and certification of product packaging
• .Act as a technical focal point, collaborating with R&D, production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams
• .Support the design and manufacturing of jigs and fixtures for the production line
• .Lead the manufacturing and DFx and FAI processes for mechanical parts, PCBs, and PCBAs
• .Support the assembly of mechanical prototypes

Required Skills & Qualification

• s:B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical fiel
• d.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks- Mandatory) and creating technical engineering documentatio
• n.Experience with NPI processes, PLM and ERP system
• s.Experience in a high-tech company with in-house manufacturin
• g.Proven ability to write assembly and test instruction
• s.Deep knowledge of production processes, (QMS) and work on a production lin
• e.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage long-term projects and work effectively with cross-functional team
• s.The ability to read and write high-level technical documents and communicate in Englis
