Job Description
- Design, implementation, and deployment of virtualization infrastructure based on VMware technologies.
- Administration and maintenance of vSphere, vCenter Server, and ESXi hosts.
- Creation, management, and maintenance of virtual machines (VMs).
- Working with snapshotting, cloning, templates, updates, and physical-to-virtual (P2V) migrations.
- Management and maintenance of HA, DRS, vMotion, and Storage vMotion (svMotion) capabilities.
- Configuration and administration of virtual networks including vSwitches, Distributed vSwitches, Port Groups, and VLANs.
- Management of storage infrastructure such as Datastores, vSAN, NFS, and iSCSI.
- Monitoring and maintenance of Windows and Linux systems.
- Performance monitoring of virtual machines using vRealize Operations (vRops).
- Troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Working with HCI solutions such as vSAN and Nutanix (advantage).
- Writing scripts using PowerShell (advantage).
Requirements
- Proven experience working with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
- Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Deep understanding of network and storage configurations in virtualized environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interface with various technical stakeholders.
- Advantage: Experience with Nutanix HCI.
- Advantage: Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
