Content Writer

Hameir Laarets is a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading Torah, compassion, and resilience throughout Israel and the world. We are seeking a talented, mission-driven content writer in English to join our team and help amplify our global impact.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Research, gather, and categorize content from existing materials and field updates across all areas of the organization’s work.
• Write impactful bilingual content for diverse platforms and audiences — including web, social media, newsletters, reports, and articles — with a focus on storytelling, clarity, and mission alignment
•  Write campaign landing pages, thank-you messages, donor appeals, and fundraising materials that reflect the impact of giving and strengthen engagement.
•  Manage and upload content across all social media platforms and ensure consistency in messaging and visual language.
• Classify and manage YouTube content to optimize our Digital Beit Midrash and media library.
• Coordinate with staff, photographers, and video editors to gather and produce visual content that supports storytelling.
•  Collaborate with leadership and creative teams to align content with our brand voice and strategic goals.
• Apply basic marketing and sales writing principles when producing promotional content.

• Ideal Candidate:
• Native-level fluency in English with exceptional writing and editing skills and advanced Hebrew.
•  Deep personal connection to the mission of Hameir Laarets: Torah, chesed, and spiritual resilience.
• Familiarity using AI tools and digital platforms; tech-savvy and comfortable adopting new technologies.
• Strong understanding of different audience types and the ability to craft content that resonates with each group.
• Experience in nonprofit communications, digital content creation, or media.
• Familiarity with platforms like YouTube, WordPress, Wix, or other CMS tools.
• Basic familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, or YouTube Studio (a plus).
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
