Automation Lead

Location: Ramat Gan – Bursa Complex (Hybrid: 2 days from home)

We are looking for an experienced Automation Infrastructure and Performance Team Leader to join our R&D organization.

This is a unique opportunity to shape automation and performance testing infrastructure for a leading SaaS company, while managing a talented team of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 4 automation and performance engineers, ensuring delivery excellence.
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s automation infrastructure and testing tools.
• Define and implement automation architecture to support large-scale SaaS environments.
• Drive performance and load testing strategies to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our products.
• Partner with R&D leaders and stakeholders (approx. 300 engineers) to align automation and performance goals.
• Maintain ~70% hands-on contribution while leading the team.
• Foster a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 8+ years in test automation development, including at least 5+ years focused on backend automation – must.
• 2+ years in automation architecture and test infrastructure design – must.
• 3+ years proven experience in team leadership/management – must.
• 6+ recent years in SaaS companies – must.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments and CI/CD tools – must.
• Practical experience in performance and load testing – must.
• Strong technical background with the ability to remain 70% hands-on.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
