Laboratory Specialist

Sheba Medical Center, Israel’s largest and most innovative medical institution, is seeking a Clinical Biochemistry Specialist to join our Metabolic Laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

·Perform highly complex procedures related to gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, and other advanced technologies, following standard operating procedures and policies.

·Conduct routine chemical testing within the department.

·Evaluate, interpret, and verify the accuracy of laboratory processes and results.

·Oversee all aspects of activity in your area of expertise, including record keeping, report preparation, test methodology analysis, instrumentation, training, and compliance.

·Ensure quality control standards and timely reporting of results.

Requirements:

·Master’s degree or PhD in Laboratory Sciences, Biology, Medical Sciences, or Chemistry – mandatory.

·Recognition certificate from the Ministry of Health – mandatory.

·Hands-on experience in HPLC and Mass Spectrometry – strong advantage.

·Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

·Strong technical expertise, commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

·Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and flexibility to manage diverse or urgent requests, often under pressure.
