DevOps Engineer

A company developing a platform for capital markets that enables efficient management and optimization of trillions of dollars in financial operations, connecting leading banks and financial institutions to maximize efficiency and returns.

The company is defined as a unicorn, having raised $350M to date, and its customers include some of the world’s leading banks.

Based in Tel Aviv (next to the train line), the company employs around 200 people globally, 50 of them in Israel, and operates in a hybrid model with one work-from-home day per week.

The role is part of a team of four DevOps engineers and a team lead. Work is carried out in a Linux, AWS, and Kubernetes environment, with scripting responsibilities. Tech stack includes AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform, Python, and Jenkins.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance business continuity of production systems in the finance sector
• Develop and deploy critical infrastructure changes to production
• Deploy and manage advanced security solutions to protect high-value trades and transactions
• Support an exactly-once, zero data-loss transaction processing system
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure automation and configuration management tools
• Design and implement orchestration solutions for dozens of containerized microservices
• Support, improve, and upgrade a continuous deployment environment
• Maintain and improve production-level observability
• Support, enhance, and update the DevOps technology stack: AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform, Python, Jenkins, and more

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer
• Additional industry experience in R&D, QA, or IT – a plus
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills across teams and stakeholders
• Hands-on experience ensuring business continuity of critical production systems
• Proven track record in delivering and communicating complex solutions to DevOps stakeholders
• Practical experience in corporate information security
• Broad understanding of networking concepts
• Experience with CI/CD integrations with SCM and code review tools
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud providers, preferably Terraform & AWS
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Groovy)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker container management and orchestration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English – required
