About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Engineer / Researcher to drive the development of next-generation Generative AI solutions. This is a unique role allowing you to design, build, and scale cutting-edge systems powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agent-based workflows.

Whether your strengths lie in pioneering research or practical engineering execution, this role will allow you to shape impactful AI products and solutions in real-world domains.

What You'll Do:

• Research, design, and implement generative AI systems using LLMs, vision-language models, and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Build and optimize data pipelines, fine-tune workflows, and inference infrastructure for large-scale AI applications.
• Design and deploy retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions, embedding strategies, and advanced prompt/context engineering.
• Translate research insights into production-ready systems with scalable architectures, robust monitoring, and CI/CD best practices.
• Prototype and evaluate novel GenAI-powered solutions, conducting rigorous experimentation to improve efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to align AI solutions with real-world product needs.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging AI techniques and incorporate them into both research direction and product execution.

What You Bring:

• 4+ years of professional experience in AI/ML (research, engineering, or both), with a strong focus on generative AI and LLMs.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Proven expertise with LLM fine-tuning, RAG pipelines, and agentic systems.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment of AI systems into production.
• Strong foundation in software engineering, data science, and algorithm development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to work independently while collaborating in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to Have:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.
• Track record of publications, open-source contributions, or patents in AI/ML.
• Experience with multimodal AI (vision-language, diffusion models).
• Familiarity with MLOps practices, observability, and real-time AI workloads.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages (Rust, Go, JavaScript).
