Back End Developer

A startup in the Manufacturing Tech and Secure 3D Printing space has developed a revolutionary SaaS platform that enables industrial manufacturers to securely 3D prints large parts.

The company’s solution is used by leading global manufacturers.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv, the company employs 12 people and offers one work-from-home day per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend development (~90%) using Node.js and Go within the company’s cloud platform
• Design and build secure, scalable architectures
• Full integration of system components
• Implement advanced security practices: encryption, authentication, secure SDLC
• Implement and integrate AI/ML algorithms into the product as needed
• Write clean and efficient code and perform code reviews
• Troubleshoot and upgrade existing systems
• Approximately 10% of the time spent on UI development using Vue.js
• Work as part of an Agile team
• Report to the R&D Director

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong understanding of security principles and experience with security technologies (e.g., encryption, hashing, authentication, security protocols).
• Experience with secure cloud and on-premise data storage practices, securing data transport (e.g., HTTPS, TLS, VPN) and secure key management practices.
