About the Role
IAMOPS, a Cloud & DevOps Managed Services company, is looking for a proactive and driven Account Executive to take full ownership of driving growth — from hunting and prospecting to closing deals and expanding existing accounts. We’re looking for someone who is not just a skilled salesperson, but a positive, high-energy team player who thrives in autonomy, embraces challenges, and is excited to grow with IAMOPS for the long term.
This role is perfect for a self-starter with SDR/Inside Sales experience ready to run the full sales cycle independently, contribute ideas, and shape the future of sales at a scaling startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Sales: Own the sales process end-to-end — from outreach and qualification to negotiation and closing.
- Upsell & Cross-Sell: Build strong client relationships to identify and execute on expansion opportunities.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute an annual sales plan to hit pipeline and revenue goals.
- Prospecting & Pipeline Development: Use outbound strategies, events, and networking to drive growth.
- Consultative Selling: Lead discovery conversations, understand client pain points, and present IAMOPS’s managed services as solutions.
- Marketing/Sales Automation: Use CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce), LinkedIn/email automation, and other sales tools to run efficient, scalable outreach.
- Market Insights: Stay ahead of trends in cloud, DevOps, and FinOps to identify opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2–3 years of sales experience in:
- IT/Cloud Managed Services (MSP), or
- Tech startup/SaaS company with products/services in cloud, DevOps, FinOps, or cloud security.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to “talk the talk” with CTOs, DevOps Engineers, and Cloud Architects.
- Highly independent, proactive, and self-motivated — capable of running the sales engine as a one-person function.
- Positive attitude and long-term mindset — eager to grow with the company and take ownership.
- A relentless closer: when the door is closed, you’ll find the window — persistent, creative, and resourceful in building relationships and winning deals.
- Proven success in building pipeline, closing deals, and exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales automation tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn automation).
Nice to Have
- Existing network in cloud, DevOps, or FinOps markets.
- Experience working closely with founders in scaling startups.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in services-based sales.
- Knowledge of consultative frameworks (SPIN, MEDDIC, Challenger).
