Data Engineer

A FinOps startup is developing technology that analyzes cloud complexities and expenses, identifies budget inefficiencies, and provides fast, high-quality solutions to reduce costs. The company has paying customers and partnerships with leading market players, including a collaboration with Amazon AWS.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv (close to train and light rail), the company operates in a hybrid model (two days working from home) and employs 65 people.

Founded two years ago by experienced entrepreneurs, the company raised $16M in a Seed round and recently completed a Series A with leading global VCs and high-profile private investors.

The role is part of the R&D team and involves developing large-scale, distributed, and robust data pipelines, data optimization and modeling, data warehouse architecture, and ETL/ELT processes. The work is carried out in an AWS environment, using SQL and coding in Go.

Requirements-

• 5 years of development experience – must
• 3 years as a Data Engineer – must
• Experience with Go or Python – must Cloud experience – must (AWS preferred)
• Strong experience with SQL – must
• Hands-on experience with Big Data tools – must
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes – advantage
• Experience with Data Warehouse architectures – advantage
• Experience with Data Modeling – advantage
