About the Company:

Our client is a well-funded AI start-up that develops robotics products (both hardware and software).

They are looking for an energetic and hands-on Algorithms Team Leader to lead their Planning Algorithms group. This role blends algorithm development, product leadership, and team management — shaping the future of their core planning offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of planning algorithms, combining classical 3D computer vision, robotics, multi-view geometry, and modern deep learning techniques.
• Oversee and continuously improve the client's planning technology stack.
• Collaborate with software release management to ensure robust integration and version control.
• Partner with Product Management to define new products and features that align with market and customer needs.
• Coordinate across functions (Software Engineering, QA, Customer Success) for seamless delivery and adoption.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing Planning Algorithms team, fostering growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in algorithm development and implementation.
• Strong expertise in 3D computer graphics, robotics, multi-view geometry, computer vision, and deep learning.
• Proficiency in C#, MATLAB, and Python in a Windows environment.
• Solid software design and system-level thinking capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, creativity, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advantageous: experience developing products for advanced manufacturing solutions.
