Data Engineer

🚀 We’re hiring: Data Engineer 🚀

For a large enterprise in the Shefela region (Central Israel), we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join the R&D team and work on AI-driven projects.

The role includes large-scale data ingestion, processing, and close collaboration with Data Scientists. You’ll design and develop critical data pipelines across cloud (AWS) and on-prem environments.

Requirements:

• 3+ years as a Data Engineer – must
• 3+ years with Python (JSON & databases) – must
• 2+ years with AWS services (Athena, Glue, Step Function, EMR, Redshift, RDS) – must
• Experience with text data for AI/LLMs – strong advantage
• Hands-on Spark for large-scale data – strong advantage
• Experience with REST APIs
• Knowledge of optimization techniques & partitions (Parquet, Avro, HDFS, Delta Lake)
• Experience with Docker, Linux, CI/CD tools, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with GenAI / Prompt Engineering – big plus
