SW Group Manager

One of our clients, a global leader in advanced semiconductor and AI technologies, is looking to hire a Group Manager – AI Model Compiler Software. The company develops innovative solutions that power the efficient execution of deep learning models on custom hardware architectures, enabling a broad range of AI and embedded applications.

Position Overview

This is a senior group management role, leading three development teams (approximately 15 engineers), with deep technical involvement in compiler technologies, deep learning, and performance optimization for embedded systems. The role includes close collaboration with international hardware and software teams to deliver next-generation AI model compilation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor three development teams, including engineers and team leads, while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Lead the design and development of advanced AI model compiler flows, including graph optimization, quantization, scheduling, and code generation.
• Work closely with global hardware and software groups to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across multiple platforms.
• Define and execute the group’s technology roadmap for high-efficiency AI model execution on embedded architectures.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of software components, including profiling tools, development utilities, and customer support capabilities.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or Engineering (M.Sc. or PhD is an advantage).
• At least 5 years of experience managing software development groups, including multiple teams.
• Strong software development background in C++ and/or Python.
• Proven track record in delivering complex, high-quality software projects.
• Experience with Graph Compiler technologies or similar AI/ML model optimization frameworks.
• Experience with performance-focused systems in embedded or HPC environments.
• Advantageous experience: TVM, XLA, MLIR, heterogeneous platforms (CPU/DSP/NPU), quantization, scheduling, and memory optimization.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills, with experience leading distributed/global teams.
