Head of Accounting

MCO Industries Defense Division

is looking for a Head of Accounting

Location: Caesarea

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute long-term financial and strategic plans.
• Lead the monthly and quarterly financial closing process, including preparation of financial statements and tax reports
• Work closely with the CFO on strategic processes- funding, debt financing, securitization, secondary markets.
• Cross-functional collaboration with marketing and sales, operations, and purchasing departments to align financial planning with business goals.
• Build and implement financial infrastructure, systems, and processes for scalability.
• Track and analyze KPIs to drive accountability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
• Act as project manager for key finance-related initiatives.
• Management of the accounting team
• Partner in business decision-making processes and development of the company's financial strategy
• Work with external auditors, consultants, tax authorities, banks, and legal advisors
• Identify financial risks, lead cost-saving and efficiency improvement initiatives, and optimize financial workflows
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and maintain transparency with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – mandatory
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Economics / Business Administration
• Proven experience as a finance manager in an operational/industrial company – mandatory
• Previous experience in a Big Four accounting firm – advantage
• High level of English – required
