Senior Advanced Software Engineer

As a Senior Cyber Security Software Engineer at Honeywell, you will be part of a team developing software solutions to monitor and detect cybersecurity attacks and incidents in real-time in the OT (Operational Technology) world.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of network data for cybersecurity research purposes.
• Develop Python-based solutions and contribute to the product's development.
• Develop Yara rules and network threat signatures (e.g. Suricata) based on analysis findings.
• Stay updated on the latest threat actor techniques and cybersecurity trends.
• Independently conduct research and investigations for Product Management.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Israel in a technical discipline such as computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of development experience in high-level programming languages (C++, Python, Java, Node, etc.).
• 2+ years of industry experience as a Python software developer.
• Hands-on experience working and analyzing network traffic with tools such as Wireshark.
• Experience in network attack analysis, e.g., network signature development (with tools such as Suricata).
• Strong research, technical analysis, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently with limited guidance.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows OS.
• Advantage: previous experience working in cybersecurity software companies / army units.
