The experts at Calanit are looking for a Data Center operation to join a global high-tech.
The position is available in the Northern or the Central of Israel
Job Description:
- Physical installation of servers and switches in data centers.
- Troubleshooting hardware issues across various server types.
- Providing support to engineers for server and switch-related problems.
- Building setups — installing network cards and connecting network cables.
- Working with monitoring and control systems to detect and resolve issues in real time.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience working in a data center environment.
- Experience with physical installation of servers and switches.
- Good knowledge of server hardware — ability to troubleshoot hardware issues and work with external vendors.
- Ability to work physically in a data center environment.
- Familiarity with ILO / IDRAC.
- Understanding and experience working with server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
- Basic knowledge of communication and network protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP).
- Responsibility, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
