Information Security Infrastructure Specialist

We are hiring an Information Security Infrastructure Specialist for a Public Sector Organization in Central Israel.

Responsibilities:

-Lead and manage IT security infrastructure initiatives across the organization

-Operate and maintain enterprise-level firewall systems (e.g., Checkpoint, Fortinet), including VPN setup and policy management

-Administer and monitor WAF systems, including anomaly detection and incident response

-Oversee and troubleshoot network protocols and technologies, such as OSI 7 Layers, DNS, ARP, DHCP, Routing, and Subnetting

-Manage and mentor a team of technical professionals, providing leadership in security best practices and incident handling

Requirements:

• 6 years of experience in information security infrastructure
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in data communication protocols such as: OSI 7 Layers, DNS, ARP, DHCP, Routing, Subnetting
• Experience in operating firewall systems such as Checkpoint / Fortinet, including VPN configuration and policy management
• Experience in managing and operating WAF (Web Application Firewall) systems, including anomaly detection and cyber incident response
• Managerial experience leading technical teams
