Backend Team Lead

A company operating in the Ad-Tech sector, developing an AI platform for identity recognition and linking in digital advertising for advertisers and content providers, while ensuring user privacy and full compliance with global regulations.

The role involves managing a team of 2–3 developers, with approximately 80% hands-on development in Java.

The company is located in central Israel, near the train line, and operates a hybrid work model with one work-from-home day per week.

Requirements-

• 6 experience working as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced and technically challenging environment.
• 2 years of proven experience managing a development team including code review and architecture decisions, sprint planning, and delivery ownership.
• Proven Experience leading end-to-end development projects – from translating product needs into technical tasks to execution and delivery
• Strong server-side (Java – Spring) experience
• Experience with Big Data DB
• Experience working with Microservice architecture and distributed messaging technologies
• Experience in Data oriented development
• Experience with cloud platforms- preferably AWS
