We’re looking for a visionary yet hands-on Senior Pre Sales Data & Cloud Engineer to partner with enterprise customers on their most complex challenges. In this role, you’ll combine deep technical expertise with business acumen to design transformational database solutions, inspire customers, and position Oracle as the foundation of their digital future.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead customer conversations as a trusted advisor—captivating executives and engineers alike with your expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and modern data platforms.
• Design next-generation solutions across Autonomous Database, Exadata, MySQL HeatWave, Analytics, NoSQL and Data fabric—addressing performance, scalability, high availability, and security.
• Build proof-of-concepts and demos that turn ideas into reality, showcasing migration strategies, modern architectures, and workload optimizations.
• Drive technical discovery and workshops to uncover requirements, architect innovative solutions, and map business goals to Oracle technologies.
• Guide end-to-end database transformations including migrations, integration, disaster recovery, and multi-cloud or hybrid deployments.
• Champion DevOps and automation practices—enabling CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), scripting (Python, Bash), and REST APIs.
• Mentor and inspire others—share best practices, deliver enablement sessions, and elevate Oracle’s presence as a thought leader.
  
  

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Database administration, architecture, and tuning in enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Database technologies (Autonomous DB, Exadata, RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, MySQL HeatWave).
• Strong command of cloud architectures, analytics, and workload modernization strategies.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of data security, compliance, governance, and cost optimization in large-scale cloud deployments.
• Proven ability to communicate with impact—engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in presales, consulting, or technical evangelism roles in fast-paced environments.

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications or equivalent cloud credentials.
• Exposure to Oracle analytics, AI/ML-driven data solutions, and modern integration technologies.
